Our on-site shop is  open for business. The opening times are 10am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

If you run a local shop or restaurant, or even if you are on holiday in the area, you are welcome to call in for your supplies, and mixed cases can be put together to suit your exact desires. If you want more than a few tubes it’s still best to ring or email first so we can make sure we have it in stock.

We will be offering products at reduced prices, as well as an expanding selection of specially selected foods.

Summer Fancy Food Show - New York, New York and toronto, canada - july 2008

Read about Alison and Jess's adventures in New York and Canada, and also you can listen to an interview with Alison [Alison's bit is about half way in, but it's worth listening about the cheese, beer and not forgetting the pate too!]

ReMARKable Palate #152: A Powerful Taste of Wales

This week, I take a trip to the west of the UK and get a taste of Wales! I wish it were really so, but actually I spoke with a bunch of Welsh food producers at the Fancy Food Show here in New York. From cheddar cheese, to beer, sea salt and flavored pates, the foods of Wales reflect the Gaelic roots of these warm people, and I'm sure you'll agree that the ones I met are a fun lot.

Meet the Boss

Someone had to have had this strange idea of making sea salt from the clean sea water around here.

David has become a sea salt bore and although it is generally the team who makes the sea salt, he still lives and breathes sea salt. Outside work he grows organic vegetables and fruit, and loves wood turning native Anglesey wood which he dries slowly in old outbuildings.

Someone has to keep the family business working as a whole and this is Alison who has responsibility for sales, people, and training, and finishing all the things that David starts.

She enjoys meeting customers at exhibitions, cooking all the vegetables David grows with sea salt garnishes, developing new recipes and flavours of sea salts, and eating in the fine restaurants which use our sea salts - someone has to do it!

Webcam
Sharp eyed visitors will have noticed our webcam is offline. Our rural aspect means we are occasionally subject to very rough weather. Many apologies for the delay whilst we work out a few technical issues.
